The Tahoe Park Neighborhood Association board has appointed a nomination committee to draft the 2021/22 officers and board member slate. In accordance with the TPNA bylaws, each March, the TPNA Board of Directors appoints a committee of up to three members to nominate the officers and board members for the proceeding fiscal year. This year, the board appointed TPNA Vice President Isaac Gonzalez, TPNA Secretary Kelly Burns, and TPNA Board member Nancy Shinn to serve as the nominations committee.
TPNA is managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors of between seven and 17 members of the Association. TPNA’s four standing officers, President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, serve as members of the Board of Directors with additional responsibilities as described in the TPNA bylaws.
Any TPNA member who would like to be considered for the 2021/22 board slate should complete the interest and qualifications form at https://forms.gle/oyaWQDXZDcZWHp3m8 before 5:00 pm on March 25th. The nominations committee will review all applications and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors during the April 5th TPNA meeting. The Board of Directors will review the recommendation and determine the final slate before presenting the slate for a vote by the membership at the annual TPNA general membership meeting scheduled on April 21st.
