Coming to Tahoe Park

Decorate your bikes, strollers, and scooters, and come out for a day of play in the park!
The Tahoe Park Neighborhood Association is proud to present Spark-Tacular: a neighborhood festival featuring music, games, open swim, food trucks, and makers’ market.
Festivities begin at 10:00 am. Balance Dance Project will lead a Fourth of July-themed parade around the park, stepping off at 10:30 am. Live music starts at 11:00 am. This free summer event promises fun for all ages!

JILLIAN VAN NESS: Our first musical act is perfect for the little ones! Jillian Van Ness will perform her joyful original music (along with some familiar favorites) at 11 am. Jillian brings musical magic to families with children through her work with Grow Resilient Families. FENIX DRUM AND DANCE: Get ready to move with Fenix Drum and Dance. Fenix Drum and Dance Company. celebrates music and dance from West Africa and the diaspora. Their interactive performance at Noon will be exciting for all ages.
BRIAN ROGERS: At 1:00 on Saturday, Brian Rogers will bring his signature funky, weird hip-hop style to the Sparktacular stage. Brian is a celebrated Sacramento musician who has toured internationally and played with national acts. ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND: Adventure Playground will bring out their mobile makers’ laboratory or tinkerers’ workshop to Tahoe Park for Sparktacular. The Adventure Playground puts real tools into the hands of youth so they can build and create things that reflect their own ideas and visions.
BIGGER THAN US ARTS: Bigger Than Us Arts is bringing out their Instrument Petting Zoo so everyone can make some noise. BTU Arts is an Arts Education organization that brings music, visual, and performing arts directly to the community. For Sparktacular they'll set up a range of musical instruments for everyone to explore.
